The S&P 500 failed to stay above the 2,570/2,585 Equilibrium again and plummeted back down to the 2,475 Equilibrium today. On top of that, a new make-or-break Equilibrium has emerged at 2,305.
So where do we stand? With the market unable to hold the 2,570/2,585 Equilibrium on Monday or Tuesday—and several times over the last two weeks for that matter—the market is at a tipping point. If buyers can’t hold the 2,475 Equilibrium, the market could test the 2,305 Equilibrium.
